Thirty Questions, Part One
A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a list of thirty questions a literary agent recommended every author ask their protagonists when writing a book(https://carlywatters.com/2014/01/13/30-questions-to-ask-your-main-character/). Given I suck at NaNoWriMo but have always liked the general concept of it, and that 30 question correlate perfectly to the 30 days of November, I figured -- what the heck! One question a day. Just for practice and to get the creative writing juices flowing again.
So, here you have the first ten questions I asked Ada, the Engineer, and Synthia, the Robot.

1. What does your character look like?
Ada:  She’s about 5 foot 4, rail thin, and has deep, dark brown eyes which she’s very adept at changing the size of to express how she’s feeling. She has a cute button nose, and a rarely-seen bright smile, and ears that are just slightly too big for her head. Her most striking feature is her long, reddish brown hair. It’s mostly brow

I just enjoy drawing, and don't have a particular goal in mind other than creating new characters and getting them out in front of the world to be seen (even if not very many people see them). I keep thinking I want to move toward a comic book style, but I'm not sure that's actually happening.

If you think you might want to commission me to draw a character of yours (or someone else's), drop me a line. Generally, full-figure digital pictures (about 2400x3000 in size) will run about $30 per character shown and will take a couple of weeks or so. Backgrounds and such will add to it, of course.

I found a collection of 30 questions to ask your main character and decided to do one a day for The Engineer and The Robot for November. If I share them here, what would be the best way to split them in a journal so as not to annoy you all?

So, in a kind of amusing twist given my usual indecisiveness, my Inktober Poll wound up, as of 9:30 tonight, in a three way tie between demon girls, superheroines, and alternating between them all.

So, I'll just kind of be alternating between all of the options, or, in other words, just doing whatever catches my fancy at a particular moment.

What I hadn't realized when I posted the poll was just how busy October was going to be for me -- so I think my true goal will be to hit a consistent stride in the last two weeks of the month, but get at least some sort of drawing -- even if just twenty minute doodles -- done each day before then. So, you're not going to see 31 drawings posted by me this month, but I'm hoping to get at least ten. I've yet to decide on an aspect of my work to really focus on, but I've been meaning to get practicing with my copics again, so... that may be it.

Activity

One thing this half-hearted Inktober is teaching me is that I much prefer to spend a good, long time on one drawing rather than attempting to finish one a day. It's just very relaxing, and gives me time to fall in love with the character I'm drawing, which in turn creates a better piece of work. Quick draws are definitely fun every now and then, and a good skill to learn and practice, but I should probably stop trying to force myself into it.
Artist annoyance #4,324: Being almost  finished a piece, but having to put it on hold for a week or so because of a work event. *sigh*
I'm sure this is overdramatic, but at the moment it feels like the worst feeling ever comes from spending all day on a drawing and realizing it kind of sucks.
No one reminded me how much of a pain it is to draw all of the buckles on Ruby Rose's outfit. I am disappointed. Either in myself, or all of you... probably moreso myself.
So, this morning I hit 100 watchers. I know it's not much when compared to a lot of folks in the DA-verse, but it's still a cool milestone to stumble on. Thank you, all, for taking an interest in my stuff!
